JOHN’S RUN 28th -29th June 2019 New Brighton

Did you know that every 27 seconds somewhere around the world another person is sold into slavery? This breaks my heart and I wanted to ask you to support me as I try to do something about it!

To challenge myself and encourage donations to Hagar New Zealand, https://hagar.org.nz/ I will be running 5km on the hour, every hour, for 24 hours (120km). Yes, you read that right! From 6pm on Friday 28th June all through the night til the following day, finishing at 6pm Saturday 29th, I will run 5km every time the hour changes!

My goal is to raise at least $2700 for Hagar NZ and I'm looking for people to sponsor me or run with me. If you are willing to run 5km (you can choose at what hour!) and donate $20 to the cause, please send me an email at suejohnsimkiss@gmail.com, or comment below with the hour you would like to run and Sue will pm you more details. I would love your company, especially in the early hours of the morning! I'm likely to be getting slower near to the end of the 24 hours, so fast walkers could also join me then.

If you're not a runner but want to support me anyway, please consider making a donation to Hagar NZ here (put John Simkiss in the reference field): https://hagar.org.nz/donate/. Even if you are overseas, why not 'run alongside me' and donate to Hagar NZ?

Please share this event with friends that might like to join us in your chosen time slot. The more the merrier!!

Let's transform lives together!

Coffee Mornings in Christchurch NZ

Each month we invite a person to speak on a topic of interest. These vary widely from art themes to advice about making a will, or someone talking about a subject that is out of the ordinary for most of us.

This month on 24th May 2017 we will meet and hear Nathan's experiences in Afghanistan where he lived and worked for 10 years with his family.

Select our contact page (click here) and drop me a line if you live in Christchurch NZ and would enjoy coming along.
